Abstract :
This work presents a novel harmonic load flow formulation for radial distribution systems. The proposed method is based on the backward/forward sweep algorithm. Results obtained with this formulation are the same that could be calculated with the well known current injection method for harmonic studies, but in this case, the construction of any network matrix is not necessary. Also, the proposed method is tested on an eight node radial test feeder and its results are presented.
