Abstract :
A study on image texture segmentation is presented, utilizing the multichannel amplitude responses. The multichannel filters are designed through the use of a modulated “wavelet” multiresolution decomposition, providing both spatial frequency and orientation selectivity. The potential of this approach is shown by experimental results
