Abstract
The production and energy management of continuous industrial complexes is faced through an approach based on a set of production rules obtained after the study of the high dimensional optimal problem simplified by the knowledge of its properties. This simplification arrives after time and spatial aggregation allowing very quick solutions to production plans. Optimal energy planning is calculated for a given production plan and the production plan can be interactively changed until a good solution of both production and energy is bound
