  • Abstract
    This paper deals with a new method of approximating a transfer matrix function of McMillan degree n by one of degree m, with m being lower than n. This method is based on the cancellation of approximate poles and zeros of the transfer matrix function. The system to be reduced is represented by a matrix-fraction description
