Abstract
Today´s airborne communication networks face diverse and complex operational requirements. Agile network architectures are necessary to ensure reliable connection across disparate platforms and dynamic operational conditions. In this paper we will describe an integrated approach to address the emerging airborne networking challenges. Specifically, we will discuss situational adaptation and dynamic QoS methods for improving network performance. To facilitate integration and interoperability, standard interface and common core hardware are investigated to achieve a platform-agnostic solution. Finally, we will describe some key results from our developed system.
