Abstract
Shows part of the work carried out within the PERCOM RACE project. The target is to implement a prototype supporting PSCS (personal service communication space) services on an ATM network using a distributed processing platform to validate the ODP (open distributed processing) methodology and the used TINA-C (Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture Consortium) modeling concepts for the PSCS service applications. The PERCOM demonstrator considers only one PSCS service provider and one network provider. A universal PSCS reference model including several architectural solutions is also presented to show the PSCS concept in a global and more realistic scenario
