Abstract :
In this paper a problem of using extensible protocol in distributed measurement system is addressed. It is assumed that system is being built upon TCP/IP networks such as local area networks or wide area networks and the Internet. XMPP, which stands for extensible messaging and presence protocol, is a standarized Internet protocol based on XML. It is the protocol that is used for message passing subsystem in described project. In this article some performance measurements and throughput limits are shown.
