Abstract
This paper presents two differential driver amplifiers designed for low power, low voltage, short-range wireless transceivers working at 2.4 GHz band for the personal digital communication. They are fabricated in 0.18 mum CMOS technology. The one-stage and two-stage driver amplifier provide 14.2 dB and 24.4 dB gain respectively. The 1-dB output compression point of 4.3 dBm and 4.5 dB of the two designs, respectively, and 10 dBm of output IP3 make them suitable for integrated in the low power transmitters. They consume 4.4 mA and 6.3 mA, respectively, when output is 0 dBm under 1.8 V.
