Foreword

International Symposium on System-on-Chip 2010 is the 12^th annual SoC event in Tampere, it builds on a tradition started back in 1999. In addition to the invited lectures, commercial exhibit and vendor programme, the conference is open for contributions from researchers on this broad but focused field. The symposium also features a panel discussion on topics of high interest to the SoC community. This will reflect the theme of the year, Embedded Multicore/Multiprocessor Computing Platforms. The mission of SoC 2010 is to provide a forum that is fully and comprehensively dedicated to SoC. We enjoy the privilege to have IEEE Circuits and Systems Society as our technical co-sponsor.
