Abstract
A highly integrated system-on-chip (Soc) for BT and WLAN in 90nm CMOS process. This is a low-cost, low-power highly integrated IEEE 802.11a/g/b MAC/Baseband/RF Wireless LAN (WLAN) and Bluetooth (BT) 2.0 Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) Baseband/RF SoC. The challenges of SoC integration, noise coupling and small form factor are discussed. Techniques and schemes for coexistence of BT and WLAN will be discussed. Circuit design techniques to optimize the RF performance in 90nm will also be presented. The sensitivity of-88dBm and -75dBm is achieved in BT (1Mbps) and WLAN (54Mbps) mode respectively.
