Preface

The annual conference of Iranian Society of Cryptology, "ISCISC" is an opportunity to bring researchers and expert together to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Cryptography, and Information Security, and solutions of real world challenges. So far, ISCISC has passed eight successful conferences. The 9th ISCISC conference is organized with the co-operation of University of Tabriz and ISC, which is held in Tabriz, Iran on 13th and 14th of September 2012 Total sum of 440 papers (161 in English and 279 in Persian) have been submitted to the conference. Papers are reviewed and evaluated averagely by two referees. The overall paper acceptance rate for oral and poster presentation are respectively 12% and 20%. All accepted oral English papers is indexed by IEEExplore and will have opportunities for consideration for the Special Issue of Journal ISeCure and IJISS Journal. The selection will be carried out during the review process as well as at the conference presentation stage. The Persian accepted papers also submitted to the journal of ECE for possible publication after proper review process. Besides the presentation of the approved papers, the activities of the conference include the keynote speeches, a professional exhibition and also high-tech workshops.
