Abstract
The authors´ aim was to enhance resolution and signal to noise ratio of PET reconstructions by incorporating information of other image modalities into the reconstruction process. Usually, the reconstruction with a-priori-information is based on two complementary data sets: functional data from PET or SPECT on the one hand and morphological data from CT or MRT on the other hand, morphological data having significantly better resolution and contrast
