Abstract
MSP (MultiStream Protocol), a highly flexible high-speed transport protocol, is presented. MSP has been verified to provide the service requested by the user. Analysis of a software implementation of MSP shows that, with practical hardware support, it may support data transfer at over 150 Kpkts/s. The high functionality and flexibility of MSP make it well suited for supporting both traditional data applications and newly developing integrated applications
