Abstract
This work reports a new hardware architecture, based on Cypresstrade Programmable System on Chip PSoC mixed-signal arrays, for the acquisition and processing of electromyographic (EMG) potentials of face muscles, particularly of the masticatory apparatus, and the generation of biofeedback signals. The wearable prototype we built demonstrated the possibility to reach a high grade of integration.
