Abstract :
Counter-Terrorism simulation and models can be considered as vital tools for terrorism and intelligence analysts by providing more reliable and predictive solutions to take effective counter-terrorism measures. This potential can only be achieved by provision of more realistic and authentic information, in both knowledge and time space, to counter-terrorism simulation or tools. Terrorism is a complicated domain both to be predicted and prevented. The challenges or issues in this domain involve diverse scenarios, simultaneous monitoring of various parameters, identification of their relationships or associations, and timely availability and authenticity of information for improved decision making. This paper addresses these issues by proposing a Counter-Terrorism Simulation Framework as an application of Boyd´s famous OODA loop.
