Abstract :
The principle of a new data synchronization technique termed "matched filter derived synchronization" and "code assisted bit synchronization" is discussed. Implementation and performance examples are presented for the system operating over different types of channels. The technique depends upon the use of real-time digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and devices at the receiver
