Abstract :
An algorithm for three-dimensional SPECT diagnostics is developed. A step in the SPECT method is a reconstruction of spatial local emission coefficients distribution inside a patient´s body. A tissue absorption correction results in a more complicated problem compared with traditional X-ray or NMR tomography. The suggested algorithm allows the reconstruction of an unknown emission distribution when an absorption assumed to be an arbitrary function of spatial coordinates is known
