Abstract
This work demonstrates an alternative ultra-high efficiency solution for class-E amplifier design when non-ideal device characteristics are present. The result is a mode of operation with an increased maximum operating frequency for maximum efficiency. Analytical, modeled, and measured results are given, demonstrating the validity of the approach.
