Fiber-in-the-loop (FITL) systems are described, possible FITL system architectures are presented, and major requirements areas are summarized. FITL system generic requirements are contained in Bellcore´s TR-NWT-000909. TR-NWT-000909 contains an overview section, as well as detailed generic requirements. Major highlights from the technical reference are summarized
