Abstract :
A 1-bit signal processing based on delta-sigma modulation is described. Additionally a 1-bit IIR filter based on delta-sigma modulation is proposed and described how to realize and design. The input and output of 1-bit IIR filter is a delta-sigma modulated 1-bit signal. Proposed filter treats an output signal of delta-sigma modulator directly, therefore, compact signal processing system can be realized. As examples of 1-bit signal processing, this paper presents about two filters: Butterworth filter and graphic equalizer (GEQ). The desired frequency response can be obtained by using proposed method.
