Abstract :
This paper discusses various issues surrounding the implementation of a digitally controlled field oriented control (FOC) induction motor system. The complete system is simulated beforehand and then practically implemented using a high performance transputer based digital controller. Results captured from the practical system are presented and compared with those of the simulated FOC system
