Abstract
A special step-down power converter is investigated. The basic function, the stationary relationships, the small-signal behavior, the position of the poles and zeros and the dimensioning are treated. Furthermore, for a model power converter, simulation and measurement results are compared. Step responses are given as well as dimensioning guidelines
