Abstract
The development of fast speed microprocessors such as DSPs (digital signal processors) makes it possible to implement high performance current control algorithms for permanent magnet synchronous motors using software. In this paper, a DSP-based high performance current controller which includes nonlinear feedback compensation and the stationary equivalent of a synchronous regulator is presented. Minimization of harmonic torque ripple due to distorted rotor magnetic wave is realized using measured values of the flux wave
