Abstract
A new inversion method for the measurement of sensitivity distribution in the field of view of a thermal infrared radiometer is proposed. The sensitivity distribution is obtained from the radiometer output by using a transmission computed tomography algorithm. The output is acquired while a plate blackbody with straight edge is scanning across the field of view of the radiometer. We used the fact that the time differential of the output corresponds to the projection data in computed tomography.
