Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach for the real time digital control of a DC/DC static power converter with a constant switching frequency based on the application of fuzzy logic and optimal commutation principle. From error and error variation measurements, a tuning method of switching curve is proposed, by adjusting the membership functions in order to provide robustness, stability and short settling time. The simulation and experimental results are compared to other classical approaches (PID, optimal commutation control) in terms of static and dynamic performances. With the “fuzzy optimal commutation controller”, the system remains insensitive to parameters variations and disturbances without any mathematical model for its tuning
