  • Abstract
In this paper, we present results of predicting algal blooms in one estuary in South East Tasmania, Australia. Further we also present results of a detection method for harmful algal blooms in another estuary in the same region. The research on detecting and predicting algal blooms is towards building a decision support system that will benefit both aquaculture and health services for decision making purposes.
