Abstract
Combination of a surface energy balance (SEB) model, remotely sensed spectral data from Landsat sensors and meteorological data from thirteen weather stations resulted in a good estimation of surface energy fluxes over a semiarid heterogeneous region. For latent heat flux (LE), the mean absolute difference (MAD) between the measured and modeled fluxes was 14 W/m2 over a range of 174 to 204 W/m2
