Abstract :
Recently, as a substitute for SF6 gas circuit breaker, a vacuum circuit breaker with low environmental effect is attracting attention. The development of vacuum circuit breaker adapted high voltage and large current. Therefore, increase of current carrying ability is necessary for vacuum circuit breaker, and it may be possible to increase current carrying ability by the vacuum interrupters in parallel. Therefore, arc currents of vacuum interrupters in parallel are measured. In other application for nuclear experiment for large Tokomak Machine, interrupters in parallel is interrupted DC 130kA successfully and it may be also acceptable parallel operation of vacuum interrupter for the increase of interruption capacity.
