  • Abstract
    This paper focuses on that integration of ocean models and GIS, the main work that had been done is the data preprocessing and data diffusion between model results and GIS data format; as a result, a series of ways and methods were developed in the pre-processing part. Based on the ArcGIS platform, FVCOM results are visualized by the powerful visualization and data management´s functionalities provided by ArcGIS. A GIS named OceanM2V which contains different ways of utilizing model results were developed.
