Abstract :
R.F. power sensors qualified for using as power standards must incorporate refinements not available in commercial devices. The poster describes a waveguide bolometer mount in millimeter band (WR-28), employing metallic thin film, on mica substrate, as sensitive element with high efficiency. Bolometer mount also incorporates a thin film thermopile, type T, and a reference cold thermal load, for effective efficiency measurements in a new microcalorimeter.
