Abstract :
TVI4000 is a novel type of towed vehicle - the Towed Vehicle Interface (TVI). TVI4000 is designed with the shape similar to torpedo and manufactured with the interface compatible with the mother ship. In this paper, we adopt CFD technology to analyze the hydrodynamic performance of the main towing body of TVI4000 to find out useful conclusions as references for our future works. According to the results presented in this paper, optimization plans of TVI4000 are also proposed in this paper.
