Abstract
In this paper issues in the measurement of magnetic field in industrial environment are presented. Finite element simulations of the sensor readings in a non-uniform field are compared with real measurement values. Suggestions in order to improve the measurement accuracy using common three-axial non-centered probes are proposed. Indications about the better probe position with respect the field source are given.
