Abstract
In this paper, a coordinate control strategy for multiadjustable speed drivers for a variable water volume (VWV) subsystem is first proposed to achieve the optimal operating condition. In addition, an efficient numerical method is also presented to solve the nonlinear equations. Moreover, to further reduce the energy consumption. The minimum copper loss control and the rotor flux oriented control are merged successfully without losing the fast dynamic merit of the adjustable speed drives. Finally, some preliminary experimental results are also given for verifying the effectiveness of the proposed control.
