Abstract :
Based on research into fractal theory and fuzzy fractal theory, a new fractal model designated as "grey fractal model" with "grey fractal dimension" is presented in this paper, to cope with approximate fractal problems. In order to calculate the grey fractal dimension, a fuzzy programming method is applied. In preliminary study and practical test, this grey fractal model outperforms the fractal and the fuzzy fractal models.
