Abstract :
Brewery wastewater was treated by UASB (up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket)-CASS (cyclic activated sludge system)joint technology. After combination of wastewater (sewage)treatment structure design parameters, established a brewery wastewater treatment plant model, and explored the feasibility of brewery wastewater and optimization of wastewater treatment process selection. During the treatment by the combined process, COD concentration of the brewery wastewater decreased from 2500mg/L to 75mg/L, removal efficiency came to 97%, BOD5 concentration decreased from 1100mg/L to 16.5mg/L, removal efficiency came to 98.5%, SS concentration decreased from 300mg/L to 9mg/L, removal efficiency came to 97%. The total removal rate was steady at between 97% and 98.5%. The results showed that brewery wastewater meet the requirement of standards of State “Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard” (GB8978-96).
