Mobile Internet Services Personalization Customization via Mobile Portals

The mobile internet services are not as ¿the Internet on your phone¿, specific algorithms should been designed and implemented so that they adapt to the devices, mobile/wireless networks and mobile operators, and match the user profiles to the diversity of contents structures. Personalization appears to be the most appropriate solution to this need. It comes into aid by creating personalized portals that are specific for the mobile user, which takes into consideration user mobility, the local environment and the user and device profile that break up the functionally of the Internet/wireless services when viewed through wireless devices. Mobile portals, are different from regular Internet websites, which ubiquity, convenience, localization, personalization, and device optimization may potentially influence the whole system design process as well as the rate of user adoption of advancing technologies. In the paper a solution´s prototype was proposed which create a personalization mobile portal for each end-user according to the profiles defined by end-user including interests of end-user, devices profiles and services profiles.
