Abstract :
This paper presents a simple method of fabricating a controlled light source for photovoltaic cell testing using commercially available materials, as a research alternative to high cost equipment often used in testing of PV cell prototypes. In order to evaluate the device performance, a series of tests are carried out with silicon and organic photovoltaic cell prototypes as reference samples.
