Abstract :
Influence of ligand to structural and optical properties of CuI thin film has been examined. CuI thin film has been prepared by sol-gel process with incorporation of bidentate ligand into the CuI solution. Particles size of the solution is measured after few hours of stirred. Then, the thin film was formed by spin coating technique with appropriate parameters. It optical properties characterizations were conducted and the composite film display of energy shifting which support to improved of band gap compared with that of the pure CuI film. This result indicates that the optical properties of CuI film can be easily adjusted by the formation of composite film with proper ligand agents.
