Abstract :
To realize electrically small antenna in limited space, a quad-band frequency reconfigurable antenna is proposed. It consists of radiating part and RF switch. When the switch is on or off, the operating frequency will shift from 1900MHz to 2100MHz. A proper antenna pattern is chosen for less switch insertion loss. For clarifying the efficiency loss induced by switch insertion loss, the radiation efficiency with 0ohm resistance instead of RF switch we chosen is also supplied in present paper.
