Abstract
An automated method is proposed for making a mosaic of NOAA/AVHRR images observed from contiguous orbits. The method yields mosaic image whose spatial resolution was as high as that of nadir point without any discontinuity on boundaries between original images. The method requires no more information but CCT data. The method was successfully applied to actual images
