Abstract :
A new approach for detection motion boundaries and independent motion without explicit estimation of motion field is developed. The formulation uses a piecewise linear model for the image intensity data. Compared to previous techniques, our has greater simplicity and less stringent assumptions on motion field or scene structure. Experimental results on real image sequences and real time implementation are included
