Abstract :
Rectangular waveguide slot array antenna has the advantages of high gain, lowside lobe and small size. These advantages are satisfied with the demand of airborne radar and ship borne radar. In this paper, we discuss the design of longitudinal slots in rectangular waveguide. The method of Taylor synthesize has been used in the process of design. This method doesn´t has the limit of slot compare with the method of Chebyshevsynthesize. Through calculation by means of programming, we can get the excitation of every slot. Then we can compute other parameters through the way which Stevenson had put forward. And finally, we can simulate the model created by the parameters calculated till all the indexes meet the requirements of the design.
