Abstract
This paper introduces a new use of fuzzy logic philosophy in a multimodels control of an ill-defined system. An application to the control of an inverted pendulum by a multimodels fuzzy control (MFC) using sliding mode control (SMC) is presented. Computer simulations of this control are also compared with a conventional SMC
