Abstract :
With the increase of mining depth, the temperature on the working face of deep mine is becoming more and more serious, so it is urgent to improve the thermal environment and offer a comfortable working condition for miners. There are four cooling technologies according to the research on deep mine cooling, which are central air-conditioning technology, ice cooling technology, air cooling technology, heat-electricity and glycol technology. Based on the analysis on these technologies and actual conditions in deep coal mines, we proposed the High temperature Exchange Machinery System(HEMS) and it had been successfully applied in several coal mines in Xuzhou Mining Group. During the application, six cooling or heaing techniques on improving environment are proposed, their working principles are also analysed. Compared with the other cooling systems, the six cooling or heaing systems are low in operation cost, environmentally friendly, energy conservation and pollution reduction.
