Abstract
This paper attempts to investigate the aspect of formal training in the field of software development, the college curriculum. Our results suggest that the information system (IS) course of study does not “weed out” students on the basis of creativity. This suggests that the curriculum is not stifling creative students. However, this also suggests that the IS curriculum is not enhancing students´ creativity either
