Abstract :
This paper presents a new current-input current-output programmable membership function generator (MFG) circuit. The membership function can be programmed in terms of its shape- the trapezoidal-shape, and the triangular-shape. The easily adjustable characteristics of the proposed circuit and its accuracy make it suitable for industrial control applications. The proposed MFG circuit is designed in 0.35um CMOS technology. The simulation results are given by using Hspice (level=49) software. The layout of proposed MFG circuit was drawn by Cadence Virtuoso (version 5.1).
