Abstract :
Relationships among single participant-multiple criteria (SPMC), multiple participant-single criterion (MPSC), and multiple participant-multiple criteria (MPMC) decision making situations are discussed. In particular, a real-life decision making problem is modeled to illustrate those relationships. It is argued that MPSC and SPMC problems can be modeled in the same general manner. Furthermore, it is argued that MPMC decision situations can be converted to MPSC problems
