Abstract
This paper presents a proof of concept (POC) experience sharing on how to deploy the front end processor (FEP) based on banking requirements in Taiwan. New services usually take several months to materialize as existing IT systems lack compatibility. If banking IT can catch the tempo of business planning; it is the key to save costs while increasing new revenue and profit from higher customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Currently, many banks implement enterprise application integration (EAI) as a bridge between front end and existing systems. Through using service oriented architecture (SOA) $WebSphere process server (WPS), the development cycles can be reduced from months to weeks
