Abstract
It is noted that the capability of flexibly adjusting to new conditions is needed. Especially during periods of technologically important changes and economical challenges. This results, in turn, in an increasing demand for a more and more dynamically oriented knowledge acquiring process. Systematic studying and working can be visualized as a very supportive tool in this regard and should therefore be made a general requirement for the engineering education of the future
