Discontinuities in millimeterwave phase shifter
Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. Two kinds of discontinuities are analyzed in this paper. The discontinuity of a DC isolation slot is analyzed with the FDTD method, and the discontinuity of a full-height fin-line short end with the SDA method. S-parameters of the DC isolation slot and the effective transmission length are obtained. Based on the numerical results, low insertion loss reflection-type phase shifters at 38 GHz and 94 GHz are successfully achieved
